The Christmas Elf has left fliers around the neighborhood, and you may have already received one. If not, there’s one attached here for your perusal.
Big News! The holiday magic that occurs in our neighborhood each year is expanding to the Stoney Gate houses on the North! It will be awesome to see a continuous street of lights and decorations to celebrate the holiday spirit. Will we be visible from space? Who knows!
San Diego Family magazine will be featuring our neighborhood in their December issue, so we expect a big turnout at this year’s celebration. The public night of hospitality will start at 5:30 PM and go until 10:30 PM on December 17th, 2011 (check our calendar too). Bust out your best holiday cheer and show all the visitors a good time!
We expect Santa Claus to visit on a bright red fire engine, courtesy of the San Diego Fire Department, as well as carolers, movies on houses, live music, games, karaoke and more. It should be a grand evening! There will be synchronized Christmas music broadcasting on 89.7 FM that should reach through at least the South homes, and possibly some of the North homes as well.
The official dates of the light magic celebration are from December 1, 2011 through January 1, 2012, with most light shows going dark at 10:30 PM each night.
If you are visiting our neighborhood, please review our tips and suggestions page to find the best parking, walk the street, etc.
See you at the big party!
