Once again, the number of homes that participated in our festivities last year expanded, as did the amount of sightseers, guests, revelers and media coverage. This year promises to be our biggest and most popular yet.
Our theme this year is Cultural Diversity in San Diego. Display and focus your holiday decorations around your family’s heritage, ethnicity and traditions. Let’s show the rest of San Diego how cultural diversity works to make a neighborhood you can be proud and happy to call home.
As usual, our days of exhibition are December 1st, 2012 – January 1st, 2013. We will host our neighborhood “night of hospitality” on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
Start planning your baked goods, traditional treats, holiday goodies and old country favorite recipes to tickle the taste buds of our guests for the special evening.
There’s bound to be plenty of surprises this year. Will Santa return on his fire truck? Are carolers going to sing your favorite carol? Where can you expect to see a favorite holiday classic film projected next? Karaoke anyone? Plan your activities and your parking too! Make sure you don’t block the sidewalk and have our guests walk in the street.
Hoping you and your family have a joyous and unforgettable 2012 Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!
