Drought water restrictions in effect

Drought Alert:

Mandatory Water Use Restrictions Effective November 1, 2014 

In response to continuing drought conditions, the City of San Diego has enacted its Drought Alert, the second phase of citywide conservation efforts, which calls for specific mandatory restrictions to begin November 1, 2014.

Below are several of the primary restrictions. Visit City of San Diego Water Use Restrictions to view a list of all mandatory restrictions, and thank you for your continued help.

  
Water Only 3 Assigned Days Per Week
Residences with odd-numbered addresses
(example, 301 Drought Street)
Water ONLY on Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
  
Residences with even-numbered addresses
(example, 500 Conservation Avenue)
Water ONLY on Saturdays, Mondays & Wednesdays
Apartments, Condos & Businesses
Water ONLY on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
  
Water at the Right Times
November 1 through May 31:
Water between 4 pm-10 am
for ONLY 7 MINUTES at a time when using a standard sprinkler system.
  
June 1 through October 31:
Water between 6 pm-10 am

for ONLY 10 MINUTES at a time when using a standard sprinkler system.
